Gas to Health Initiative (GTHI) has advocated for the safe use of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LP Gas) for domestic cooking and heating. This was made known during a recent LP Gas safe handling training at the 2016 customer care week organized by Omapet Energy and General Services Limited in Kaduna.
In their presentation, GTHI, a non-governmental organization practically demonstrated to the participants how to use LP Gas safely.
Similarly, the Chief Executive Officer of OMAPET Energy and General Services Limited, Chief Benjamin Omale admonished Nigerians to convert to the use of LP Gas because of its sterling qualities of being cleaner, efficient and environmentally friendly.
He also commended the partners and the teeming customers of the company for their unalloyed support and patronage and pledged never to renege in their standards.
The elated customers on the other hand thanked the management of OMAPET Energy and General Services Limited for their efficient and effective customer service delivery.
The event was well attended as major stakeholders from the Department of Petroleum Resources, Pipelines and Products Marketing Company, the Nigerian Police and the Nigerian Fire Service were all represented.
The high points of the event was the free distribution of some LP Gas cooking gadgets of various calibration to the customers as well as the conversion of a gasoline car engine to a dual fuel engine that can function on both gasoline and LP Gas.
